You know you've had a good day as a striker when you:
1) Score four goals in a game.
2) Win the match singlehandedly for your team.
3) Are named man of the match.
4) Break the 78-year-old scoring record of the man your stadium is currently named after.
What can you say about a player like Jorge Ibáñez? His streakiness drives me crazy, but when he decides to show up, he shows up all the way.
In other news, we're in second place with eight games to go. Massive, multi-thousand word series of updates to follow soon.

Should have let him take the pen.
Vignau!? Think i may have missed a post.
Vignau was introduced here. He's had an up-and-down season (really underperformed early when I gave him attacking duties, improved late in the year when I put him in more of a holding role) and, since he's our best penalty taker, I figured he could use the confidence boost.
Ah, yes.
"Remember the name." Wups.
