Forget the Murdering! Who’s Got World Cup Fever?

Soccerlens has it, apparently, since they decided that the week in which a man who tried to expose one part of the corruption surrounding this tournament was gunned down in his home was also the perfect week to publish a warmed-over FIFA press release about the joys of South African soccer tourism. The best claim? “The South African government has pledged that the 2010 tournament will be a safe tournament.” Really? Because for some people it’s already been kind of dangerous.
