Seeing as I’m writing several years after this was written, it’ll probably never be read, but I’m sorry – oh so very sorry – to report that in the real world, Pro Belvedere took over the Pro Vercelli name in 2010. Without a Philips to save them, theey were helpless.

What’s even more impressive than Brian’s knowledge of Bəhrəmov’s ethnicity, ursus, is that you spelled his name in the modern Azeri way (as opposed to “Tofik Bakhramov”) – even including the pesky ə. That’s class, sir.

Ursus! That man is a legend! I can think of no other image more appropriate for England’s performance in 66′ than the sight of the linesman defiantly pointing toward goal. Beautiful! I’m sure the German press will call for that fictional German manager’s fictional head.

Germany are obviously using fictional players.

And I’m impressed by Brian’s knowledge of the ethnic heritage of Soviet linesmen of the 60s. The national stadium in Baku is named after Tofiq Bəhrəmov.

Belvedere are historically a feeder club for the mighty whites of Pro Vercelli. The computer appears to have given them ideas above their station, which must be crushed.
