Avram Grant, Neatly Rebuffed

I’m still trying to decide whether to write anything about the recent re-emergence of Avram Grant (the sound of a manhole cover slowly scraping open; a rustling in the bushes nearby) and how I feel about it given that some glimmer of a personality finally seems to be dawning in Phil Scolari. In the meantime, Brooks at Dirty Tackle has succinctly made the case against one of Grant’s talking points.

“I didn’t really need Anelka last season and I told him so.”

And now he’s leading the Premier League in goals and you’re unemployed. Anything else, Avram?
