They do not have the licensing rights from the Welsh FA to use the real names of the players. So even if you did use the Welsh team, you’d be playing with players like Baron Hamsley and Cyan Biggs. Similar to the Dutch team, although they are still in the game.

hmm, Wales had never been in the PES series either (leading to such comedy as “Camel Saletcher” for Carl Fletcher), are they in any games? Somewhat surprising to me, doesn’t the FA get paid for that? Why wouldn’t they take advantage?
