Your last line is perfect, "They've begun to imitate the rest of football at precisely the moment when the rest of football has begun to imitate them." But after this convergence, it certainly makes me wonder "what next?" It’s great that as soon as they’ve finally achieved their goal of being exciting on the pitch, they’ve become so much less so off it.
