Clash was the one of the many they cycled through on a meandering journey that eventually led them back to where they started. I think they were the Blackhawks for a while. Also the Red Wings, the Canadiens, and, if I'm not mistaken, the UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs. No one's blaming anyone for the early 90s. Earthquakes was their original name.
