Our subtle Avram is at it again, leading a silent revolution against the cruel banality of sports-journalism (PResent company honourably excepted). Or he is just batshit insane. I know the vision of fulfilling a mad oil-tycoon’s fantasies with a team probably bereft of Lampard, certainly bereft of Drogba and Cudicini, and almost certainly to be bereft of a host of other players would send me spiralling into a vortex of insanity.
