Q. Was Avram Grant’s bizarre monosyllabic press conference yesterday a devastating piece of conceptual criticism designed to expose the vapidity of the football media by giving reporters’ banal questions the answers they would actually deserve in intelligent conversation?

…but it’s nice to see that the Sun is already calling him “Avram Grunt.”
Miser in conversation .. grant deserve accolades for uplifting the spirit of Chelsea .. though i dont support chelsea but got to say this as he was a cheap but effective substitute to Jose ..

Our subtle Avram is at it again, leading a silent revolution against the cruel banality of sports-journalism (PResent company honourably excepted). Or he is just batshit insane. I know the vision of fulfilling a mad oil-tycoon’s fantasies with a team probably bereft of Lampard, certainly bereft of Drogba and Cudicini, and almost certainly to be bereft of a host of other players would send me spiralling into a vortex of insanity. Or dreading a stretch in some Siberian gulag. Oops.
