You Say Stop, and I Say Go, Go, Go

Avram Grant

Q. Was Avram Grant’s bizarre monosyllabic press conference yesterday a devastating piece of conceptual criticism designed to expose the vapidity of the football media by giving reporters’ banal questions the answers they would actually deserve in intelligent conversation?

A. I don’t know.

  • …but it’s nice to see that the Sun is already calling him “Avram Grunt.”

  • Miser in conversation .. grant deserve accolades for uplifting the spirit of Chelsea .. though i dont support chelsea but got to say this as he was a cheap but effective substitute to Jose ..
Nice blog with catchy pic’s would you like to exchange link with mine http://www.sportsegg.com so as to increase the viewer visibility for both of us.

  • Our subtle Avram is at it again, leading a silent revolution against the cruel banality of sports-journalism (PResent company honourably excepted). Or he is just batshit insane. I know the vision of fulfilling a mad oil-tycoon’s fantasies with a team probably bereft of Lampard, certainly bereft of Drogba and Cudicini, and almost certainly to be bereft of a host of other players would send me spiralling into a vortex of insanity. Or dreading a stretch in some Siberian gulag. Oops.
